We are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Banking) - Onsite to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

 

Job description:

 

• Efficiently lead the conversation, and gather requirements from Business, understand the concerns, identify the risk, and communicate it in timely fashion.
• Ensure document the application system by following multiple cross functional requirements (e.g., Security, Quality, cross-functional Business, Legal
• Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development.
• Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability.
• Partner with stakeholders across business units (ex: sales, finance, security, compliance) to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams.
• Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties.
• Ability to make quick informed decision and understand the clear priority and escalate as needed
• Must be creative to deliver innovative solutions to address critical business needs. Highly agile, and ability to quickly pivot the plan and execute. 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or master’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum 8 years of Business Analyst experience
• Experience in FinTech, Working with Payments (Swift - MT, MX messages formats), Securities messages.
• US/EURO/Brazil electronic payment processing knowledge such as Wire Transfer, ACH, SEPA, Boletos.
• Good knowledge/experience in Cash Pooling / Letter of Credit/ Time Deposits
• Functional knowledge in payment systems such as Chips, Fed Wire, BACS, SEPA Direct Debit.
• Experience/Exposure to Financial Crimes Compliance - such as AML, Alert Investigations, Knowledge with Actimize or any other AML products is preferred
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Strong SQL skills, Data Analysis skills, Agile Experience (Epics, Stories, Working in Scrum/Sprint), Python (good to have)
• Experience in banking or financial industry
• Strong technical background and the ability to dive into the technical details
• Demonstrated experience problem solving and developing products from scratch
• Experience with bringing together cross functional teams and leading execution in an agile delivery model.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and white space.
• Demonstrated examples of building and launching product
