Are you ready to take on an exciting and dynamic role in aerospace manufacturing? Join our team as a Senior Engineer, Chemical Materials Engineering, and become a key player in our mission to deliver top-notch quality, safety, and efficiency in high-rate production. In this role, you will provide crucial support to our electrochemical metal finishing processes, including anodize, chromate conversion, and nickel plating, as well as epoxy varnish for fuel probes.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our plating processes meet the highest standards, contributing to the overall success of our cutting-edge aerospace projects.

What YOU Will Do:

  • Designs and plans layout of equipment to optimize the chemical and materials engineering processes
  • Performs laboratory studies of steps in the manufacturing of new products and tests proposed processes in small scale operations such as a pilot plant to ensure feasibility and viability
  • Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques
  • Provides guidance for engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques
  • Support yearly NADCAP certification

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

  • Excellent communication / presentation skills, Comfortable working directly with wage labor and executive leadership
  • Demonstrated success in working across functions, organizations, and all levels of management
