We are looking for Senior Data Visualization Engineer, an experienced BI developer who presents self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.

As a part of our global team you will participate in international projects based on Microsoft Stack and Azure Cloud.

 

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Data Visualization Engineer you are responsible for design and implementation of the solutions that enable our clients and business partners taking efficient decisions with ease. You are able to design, implement and deploy reports, dashboards, data models and access rules for end users. 

 

Skills and attributes for success

Solving complex business problems at large scale. Understanding business needs and fulfilling them with the right solution. Participation in a cross-functional initiatives and collaboration across various domains. Acting as  SME for business intelligence related issues in large projects.  Interacting with data engineers, product/project managers and partners from all over the world.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

•    3+ years of commercial experience in similar role.
•    Strong experience with Power BI or Tableau.
•    Experience in using various data sources, e.g. SQL, Sharepoint, flat files, web sources. 

•    Strong experience in and understanding of relational and dimensional databases design and implementation.
•    Understanding of the importance of governance and security rules when handling data.
•    Experience in converting business problems/challenges to technical solutions considering security, performance, scalability etc. •    Experience in enterprise-class solution implementations. 

•    Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution excellent inter-personal skills.
•    Very good English (verbal and written). 

•    Very good German (verbal and written). 

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

•    Experience in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
•    Experience in developing ETL in Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica etc.
•    Experience in another BI tool like Qlik Sense, SAP BO, Cognos, OBIEE.

•    Experience in BI/ETL tools on Azure/GCP/AWS cloud.
•    Experience in other RDBMS like Oracle, DB2, Teradata. 
•    Experience with data lakes. 

•    Experience with real-time data processing and data warehousing aggregation.
