We’re looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.
About the role:
As a DevSecOps Engineer, you are responsible for actively developing and implementing end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles, ensuring processes are both secure and efficient. Collaborate with clients, designing and implementing Kubernetes or Docker solutions. Take part in building CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a smooth software update process. Furthermore, actively participate in the application of GitOps principles for software delivery. Additionally, I ensure that development and software continuous delivery and integrations uses security best practices throughout the process. I ensure capabilities deployed meet security requirements and test. Works with cloud deployment activities to ensure configurations meet STIG or DOD required security standards.
What we are looking for:
- Three plus years of relevant hands-on experience
- Develop and implement end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles
- Experience with AWS and cloud technologies
- Good grasp of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies
- Networking experience
- Experience or knowledge of Service-Mesh, such as Istio
- Good knowledge of version control systems like Gitlab
- Experience in software systems development using CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Familiar with Java, Node.js, Terraform Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Python
- Passionate about automation, system efficiency, and security
- Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools
- Proficient in tools like AWS Cloud Services, Gitlab, Ansible, Maven, Gradle
- Experience with Unit/Integration Testing
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
- Able to obtain a Security+ certification within 90 days of employment with Raft
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field
Highly preferred:
- Experience with writing custom Helm Charts
- Basic experience with Big Data
- Multilingual programming abilities
- Knowledge in automation languages like Python or GoLang
Clearance Requirements:
- Active Secret security clearance
Work Type:
- Hybrid - Colorado Springs, CO
- May require up to 10% travel
Salary Range:
- $90,000 - $170,000
- The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
