Job Summary
Rivia Mind is seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a full-time, salaried W-2 position. The ideal candidate will hold an active license in Massachusetts and be open to obtaining licensure in Connecticut. We provide full reimbursement for Connecticut licensure as part of our onboarding process for this role.
As a Rivia Mind Psychotherapist, you will deliver high-quality clinical care primarily via telehealth, supporting patients through evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, MI, and others. You’ll be part of a collaborative, mission-driven practice that values clinical excellence, inclusivity, and dependable access to mental health services across the communities we serve.
Clinical Setting: Outpatient
Participate in Rivia Mind supervision groups, trainings, and attendance at department and organization meetings
- Weekly Group Supervision - case discussion, knowledge sharing, guidance, etc.
- Frequent 1:1 Supervisor/Supervisee meetings
- Weekly Clinical-Wide Meeting - case presentations, guest speakers, training, etc.

Anticipated Start Date: We aim for a May–July 2025 start, depending on your notice period, licensing timelines, and readiness. We're flexible and happy to coordinate a timeline that works well for both parties.
Job Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent quality clinical care on a consistent basis that exemplifies Rivia Mind’s culture, values, and guiding principles
- Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop curated patient-centered treatment plans
- Provide appropriate Psychotherapy practices that leverage various modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc.)
- Provide clinical support & counseling to diverse patient populations in a telehealth environment
- Service and maintain a weekly average standard of 31 patients
- Coach patients on how to manage ongoing health conditions and provide therapy to help patients make positive behavior changes
- Counsel and provide crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems
- Comply with clinical standards and adhere to timely and thorough session note documentation
- Promote a friendly work culture that encourages a fun, collaborative, and co-learning environment that benefits individuals' well-being, self-improvement, and potential
- Perform other related role and team function duties as assigned by department and group leaders
