The Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center / Department of Oncology is seeking applicants for a clinician researcher in the Lymphoma and Cellular Therapy Program at the Johns Hopkins Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC.  Sibley Memorial Hospital is a 318-bed facility providing a wide range of healthcare services to the Washington, D.C., area communities. We offer medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedics, and a variety of other inpatient and outpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Located in the Palisades neighborhood, you will have direct access to outstanding schools and universities, fine dining, and museums.

The successful applicant will lead the growth and expansion of the CAR-T program, with focus on patient care and research. The applicant will have unique abilities to interact with groundbreaking researchers at Johns Hopkins.

 The ideal candidate for this position will be an early career clinical or translational investigator. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in collaborative research, education, and program building. The Hematologic Malignancies program at Sibley Memorial Hospital includes five faculty members, who see 300 new patients each year with opportunities for growth in the region.

 

Qualifications

Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited medical school.

Licensure: Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. Active medical license, CDS, and DEA in Washington, D.C.

The referenced salary range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank.  This salary range does not include all components of the Department of Oncology faculty compensation program or pay from participation in the Department of Oncology incentive compensation programs.
