OB/GYN Physician - Inova Cares Clinic for Women

Inova Health System is actively seeking a physician to fill an OB/GYN position at the Inova Cares Clinic for Women (ICCW) Falls Church practice! 

Inova Cares Clinic for Women provides obstetric and gynecologic (OB-GYN) care for a culturally diverse population of uninsured and low-income individuals in Northern Virginia. In partnership with county health departments and community agencies, we serve the needs of our community with prenatal and gynecologic care for underserved communities.

The Inova Cares Clinic works in partnership with community organizations to promote early and continuous prenatal care for a culturally diverse population of uninsured and low-income individuals.

Physicians in this role function as OB/GYN Generalists with the following role components: 

• Full spectrum Inpatient and Outpatient OBGYN practice. Call is In-house with the Residents. 
• Function as a “Safety Officer” for L&D and the Women’s Hospital with the purpose of early detection and prevention of possible safety events. 

Position Details:

• Office Location: 6400 Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22042
• Hospital Location: Inova Fairfax Medical Campus – 3300 Gallows Road, Falls Church, VA 22042
• Schedule: full-time 

 Qualifications:

• Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution. Board eligible or board certified in OB/GYN.
• Experience: successful completion of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program. 2 years of experience after residency is preferred.
• Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
