About the role
The Head of Finance serves as the CFO's indispensable strategic partner. This individual will be a natural-born leader responsible for managing the entire finance department, with a primary focus on designing and implementing the next-generation FP&A framework that supports our rapid international scaling.
You will lead a lean but high-impact team covering FP&A, Sales Administration, and Accounts Payable/Office Management. The ideal candidate has over 15 years of experience building and scaling robust financial structures, is highly tech-savvy, and possesses the authority and strategic vision required to drive financial performance and discipline across all global business units.
Please Note: This role is based in Paris, France. It has a global focus and operates on a hybrid model, requiring two days per week in the office.
Since we operate internationally, we ask all candidates to submit their CV in English. Unfortunately, applications submitted in French will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Performance Leadership: Drive the annual budgeting and planning process, ensuring organizational buy-in and alignment with strategic goals. Act as the Executive Committee's authority on resource allocation and ROI.

Financial Discipline & Oversight: Ensure that all accounting entries and financial transactions are booked accurately, timely, and in compliance with all relevant standards. Leverage natural authority to enforce financial controls and budget adherence company-wide.
Team Leadership & Maturation: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse finance team. Focus on automating and scaling transactional functions (Billing, AP) to empower your team and allow you to dedicate the majority of your time to strategic FP&A and business partnering.
External Interface: Act as the main point of contact and manage the relationship with third-party accounting firms, tax advisors, and financial auditors.
Tool Ownership & Stack Deployment: Own and manage the entire suite of finance-related tools. This includes being the key driver in fully deploying and maximizing the value of Abacum (or similar modern FP&A tools) as our central planning engine. Ensure seamless integration with core operational systems (e.g., Salesforce, ERP).
