Team Leader Customer Development San Antonio

**Candidates for this role must reside in the San Antonio area.  No relocation assistance will be provided.

Summary:
This position is responsible for overall customer and business development for a key customer (H-E-B) in the Texas market. Responsibilities include achieving sales volume and financial objectives, developing strong customer relationships, and leading Customer Development Managers (CDMs). The role requires alignment with Business Units, execution of initiatives and strategies, and effective communication throughout the organization. Other duties involve building category growth with retail partners, achieving distribution targets, developing promotional strategies, managing trade funds, and ensuring financial reconciliation. The role also involves monitoring key performance indicators, optimizing trade spending tactics, and leading the Customer Annual planning process. The position demands strong financial acumen, intermediate analytical skills, and advanced computer skills.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience: 7+ years of sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years in North American packaged goods categories.
• Special Skills: Strong financial analysis skills, intermediate analytical abilities using proprietary and syndicated data sources.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer Skills: Advanced proficiency in generating spreadsheets, presentations, and reports.
• Supervisory: Manages 2 CDMs and works with various internal teams.
• Travel: up to 5-6 trips per year.
