Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas CityThe Senior Vice President is the Division Head for the FRFS Administration and Bank Operations. This division includes Law Enforcement, District Cash, Facilities Management, and Business Continuity, and administrative leadership for Tenth District-based FRFS work, and focused support for Frist Vice President various responsibilities and committees.This leader reports to the First Vice President and serves as a member of the Bank’s Management Committee.
Primary Objectives:
Determine and direct the strategic direction of the Division; oversee the development of goals, key objectives; and attract, engage, and develop the team. Champions a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment that encourages continuous improvement and growth, understanding the important role that these efforts play in achieving business objectives.
Provide executive oversight of District Cash Services, Facilities and Law Enforcement. Ensures processes, procedures and standards are well-defined and effectively applied to deliver high quality operations, demonstrate superior control and compliance, and provide effective levels of service.
Provide executive oversight for FRFS employees within the Tenth District to support leader and employee contributions to the FRFS strategic goals and continued development and connectedness to the Tenth District.
Represent the Bank on applicable Federal Reserve System governance committees and workgroups. Seek out leadership positions within those groups to influence strategic direction ensuring collaborative partnerships with the System peers and decision makers.
Effectively manage the business line’s financial resources according to budget and policy guidelines. Acts as a fiscally responsible leader, ensuring the compliance of budgeting and forecasting assumptions. Assesses business needs in conjunction with fiscal stewardship, ensuring resources are allocated strategically and correctly to meet demand.
Secondary Objectives:
Actively contribute to the Bank's senior leadership initiatives including strategic planning, goals and objectives setting, policy development, DEI and cultural initiatives, and organizational level workforce development, mentorship, and succession.
Ensures that operational areas meet or exceed their business objectives and performance targets and that all operations and support functions demonstrate efforts supporting continuous improvement.
Ensures an effective risk-management process for the Bank as evidenced by an effective risk-assessment program, high levels of compliance with well-designed and well-documented controls, regular employee training, and responsiveness to employee-identified issues. Ensures effective crisis management, business continuity plans, and strong physical security measures.
Effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, building relationships of trust and mutual respect.

Strong leadership and talent management skills including attracting and hiring talent, engagement with staff, and a focus on individual and team development. Bachelor’s degree in a business related field. 10+ years of managerial experience required. Fifteen years preferred.
