About Us

This opportunity is based in our Government Finance and Accounting Branch, which focusses on managing the Public Account, whole-of-government financial reporting, financial asset and borrowing management, Treasury’s departmental finances, as well as developing financial management legislation, policies, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Treasury is a small (350+) central government agency that provides economic, financial, and policy advice and services to support the Tasmanian Government priorities and improve the wellbeing of the Tasmanian community.

Period of Appointment

Fixed term appointment for 3 years. 

Hours per fortnight

Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part-time hours.

A relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
