About Us:
Middle River Aerostructure Systems is a world-leading manufacturer of thrust reversers (the braking system on a jet engine), engine nacelle components and specialized aerostructures. It supplies and supports these products for engine makers, airplane manufacturers and aircraft operators. Located on Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay near Baltimore, MRAS has a 1.7-million sq. ft. facility situated on 180 acres – where the company and its predecessors have designed, built and equipped civil and military aircraft for over 90 years. In 2019, MRAS was acquired by ST Engineering North America, the U.S. affiliate of Singapore-based ST Engineering – becoming a part of its global network of aerospace facilities and offices. With the ownership change, the company was renamed Middle River Aerostructure Systems.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Implements and supports moderately complex and modern end user computing solutions.
  • Understands and promotes end user technology standards for hardware, OS, core applications, and peripherals.
  • Evaluate, establish, integrate, and maintain end user technology applications used to manage desktops, laptops and mobile devices.
  • Serves as the highest-level technical resource for technologies which may span the company.  Leads complex troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis.
  • Proactively automate, streamline and simplify engineering processes and routine tasks.
  • Creates and updates system documentation for support teams.
  • Participates in multiple cross company projects and initiatives that impact the end user computing solutions and experiences.
  • Operates under minimal direction.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, the candidate must have a minimum of 4 years as a Client Engineer with an additional 4 years of relatable work experience. Advanced knowledge of Windows OS deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting in an enterprise environment.

 

Desired Characteristics/Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft technologies including AD, Powershell and GPO.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Azure/M365 technologies including AAD, Intune and Autopilot.
  • Proficient deploying Windows applications in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience working with process and discrete manufacturing systems.
  • Experience working with Tanium for patch management.
  • Experience working with Tenable.io for vulnerability management.
  • Experience participating in projects in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience working with DFARS, ITAR and EAR requirements.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Self-driven, able to juggle many tasks under tight deadlines, and be comfortable bringing ideas to the table.
  • Good documentation, teamwork and communication skills.
