Event Security Officer Hiring Event

• Date: April 30, 2025
• Time: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
• Location: Sports Illustrated Stadium, 600 Cape May Street, Harrison, NJ
• Enter through the VIP Entrance
• Parking: Available on the street or in the North Lot

Position Details:

• Part-Time Only - Event based position. 
• Must be available on weekends and have a flexible schedule during the week.
• $18.50 an hour.

Job Description:

Securitas is looking for reliable and dedicated Event Security Officers to join our team at Sports Illustrated Stadium! As an Event  security officer  , you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests attending events.

Responsibilities:

• Check bags and screen guests to ensure overall safety.
• Control arena access by verifying tickets and credentials.
• Manage crowd control issues during events.
• Provide friendly guest services and direction.
• Perform other duties as required to ensure safety and security at the venue.
• Weekend, evening, and occasional holiday shifts required.

Requirements:

• Ability to respond effectively during emergency or stressful situations.
• Must have a flexible schedule, including availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate stairs, with occasional running or sprinting.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills for handling customer-related situations.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Verifiable work history.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
• Must meet state licensing requirements.
• Must possess or be willing to acquire a valid NJ State Security SORA License.
