Registered Dietitian (Hybrid: Onsite + Remote) – Part-Time

Overview

RD Nutrition Consultants (RDNC) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition services for a behavioral wellness facility in the Seattle, WA area. This is a low-hour, highly flexible hybrid position—ideal for an RD seeking meaningful clinical work with excellent work/life balance.

You will support adults in a behavioral health setting through individualized nutrition assessments, planning, and ongoing monthly support. Hours are predictable, the schedule is flexible, and much of the work can be completed remotely.

Position Highlights

• Hybrid role: 1-2 onsite visits per month; remaining hours completed remotely

• Guaranteed minimum 10 hours per month , with up to 12 hours as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1 hour of nutrition support per client per month , with additional time as clinically indicated

• Complete individualized assessments, care plans, and nutrition-focused physical exams (as appropriate)

• Monitor client progress, including weight trends, labs, appetite changes, and overall clinical status

• Collaborate with nursing, behavioral health staff, and leadership to support client treatment goals

• Deliver a combination of direct care (approx. 80%) and documentation/planning (approx. 20%)

• Maintain accurate and timely records using the facility’s approved consulting logs

• Support menu review and nutrition-related programming as needed (remote options available)

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required

• Experience in behavioral health, residential care, or clinical nutrition preferred

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously

• Comfortable supporting diverse adult populations with varying levels of medical and behavioral needs

• Reliable transportation for monthly onsite visits
