Overall Objective of the Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join us in building a new generation of backend microservices that combine telecom-grade robustness with the power of AI. You’ll develop high-performance systems while integrating and orchestrating Large Language Models (LLMs) directly into backend flows – not just consuming APIs, but shaping how AI enhances network data processing, automation, and reasoning. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be working in a small, agile team with strong AI and telecom collaboration. Our goal is to bring together structured data, intelligent backend design, and state-of-the-art AI models to solve real-world problems in telecom. You’ll also work with telecom-specific AI components such as the RAN Intelligent Controller (RIC) – a critical part of 5G network automation. 

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend microservices using: Python and Go (and possible latter Java/Spring Boot).
• Create services that embed and interact with LLMs (e.g., prompt pipelines, output parsing, feedback loops).
• Contribute to the architecture of hybrid AI + telecom systems.
• Build scalable APIs and efficient pipelines to process telco/networking data and expose them through API Gateways.
• Package and deploy services with Docker & Kubernetes.
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers and telecom domain experts in a fast-paced, agile team.

Requirements

Must Have:

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or similar technical degree.
• 4+ years of backend development experience using Python.
• Solid understanding of microservices architectures and API-based systems.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and Linux environments.
• Understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Passion for AI and some practical exposure to LLMs (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.) even in hobby/personal projects.
• Willingness to learn telecom concepts like 4G/5G, RAN, Core.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Java is preferred.
• Experience with Go is nice, but not by itself only.
• Understanding of telecom networks, 5G architecture, or network automation.
• Experience building orchestration logic or wrapper services for LLMs.
• Familiarity with embedding/vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant).
• Familiarity with API Gateways and request-routing logic.
