<p><u><em><strong>Our purpose</strong></em></u></p><p>Bringing quality and safety to life.</p><p></p><p>Intertek, a leading international provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection, and Certification) services, is looking for a <strong>Cyber Security Manager</strong> to join Intertek IT Security team.</p><p></p><p>Cyber Security Manager will report to the Head of IT Security Operations and manage a team of experienced Analysts that provide support for the EMEA region covering technical security assessments, security technology management, incident validation &amp; response.</p><p></p><p>This role is delivered in a fully remote model, but occasional and justified presence on site may be required.</p><p></p><p><strong>Job Purpose:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage a team of Cyber Security Analysts providing global support for Group IT and the business</li><li>Act as the escalation contact point for all cyber security related matters for the region (security monitoring, incident response, technical assessment, security solution and policy management)</li><li>Lead security investigation &amp; major incident response efforts in the region</li><li>Oversee the management of endpoint, network, email and web security technologies.</li><li>Perform personnel and performance management for the local Cyber Security team in Poland</li><li>Primary stakeholder for Cyber Security operations within the region</li><li>Coordinate work allocation for cyber security incidents and services</li><li>Drive process improvements to increase detection, reduce mean-time to response and create operational capacity efficiencies.</li><li>Support Legal investigations involving cyber security technologies.</li><li>Contribute towards cybers security operations strategy development &amp; execution</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Tasks:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage daily cybersecurity operations and coordinate the regional security team, including shift planning and absence management. </li><li> Act as the regional escalation point for all cybersecurity incidents and oversee implementation of corrective actions. </li><li> Lead the deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity solutions within the EMEA region. </li><li> Continuously monitor and evaluate security processes to identify areas for optimization and efficiency gains. </li><li> Oversee vulnerability management activities, including threat analysis, critical patching coordination, and compliance monitoring. </li><li> Collect, analyze, and maintain cybersecurity data to support regional and global reporting requirements. </li><li> Supervise infrastructure and web application security assessments, ensuring quality assurance of team deliverables. </li><li> Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and support business continuity and mission assurance strategies. </li><li> Set strategic priorities for regional cybersecurity operations, including budget oversight and resource planning. </li><li> Drive team development by setting knowledge and skill-building goals and regularly assessing progress.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Key relationships:</strong></p><ul><li>Head of IT Security Operations</li><li>Regional Cyber Security Hub managers – APAC and AMER</li><li>Regional Chief Information Officers</li><li>Project Managers</li><li>Principal Engineers</li><li>Enterprise Architects</li><li>Regional business stakeholders</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).</li><li>University Degree in IT, Cyber Security, or a related field. </li><li>Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including data security, access management, security controls, and application security risks (e.g., OWASP Top 10). </li><li>Good understanding of cyber security architecture, risk management frameworks, and relevant laws, regulations, and ethical considerations. </li><li>Proven experience (5+ years) in managing cybersecurity teams (3+ members), with strong leadership and policy development skills. </li><li>Familiarity with incident response methodologies, vulnerability management sources, and IT supply chain risk management practices. </li><li>Cybersecurity certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CISSP are preferred.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>Available benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Access to best-in-class security training platform</li><li>Eligibility for security certification on a regular basis</li><li>Eligibility for medical cover package</li><li>Eligibility for a sports benefit package</li><li>Regular integration events with the team</li></ul>
