Develop planning, organization, and direction of the production units at FIRLOUIS. Responsible for the performance of production units (bottling and formulating) and coordination of daily activities within the production departments.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage employee relations including policies, benefits, procedures, and performance reviews.
• Train, cross train, and develop personnel and utilize each in their area of expertise.
• Responsible for the safety of all individuals within the plant production facility.  The knowledge of safe operating procedures, including existing safety guidelines, is essential.
• Responsible for creating an environment of continuous improvement within the production units and developing an awareness for product quality to ensure that customer service is provided, short lead times, and inventory control is maintained.
• This position requires participation in HACCP and Food Safety meetings and audits. Compliance with applicable company policies concerning maintaining a drug free work place is required. Other functions as required (nonessential functions). Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Ensure adherence to all management systems including, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and FSSC 22000, with an understanding of Firmenich’s Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.  Responsible that these policies and procedures are implemented throughout the organization and all related activities under the position’s jurisdiction.

You bring

• Candidate must possess strong management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A minimum of five years previous experience in a production environment is required.
• Previous experience in supervision / management is desirable.
• A B.S. degree in management or a technical field is desirable.
• Previous experience with SAP desirable.
• A minimum of 2 years previous experience with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and FSSC 22000 or equivalent required.
