Position Summary
• Responsible for assisting patients inquiring of their accounts, explains charges and answers related inquiries; receives and processes accounts receivable checks and other related mail.
Education
• High School diploma or equivalent
Licenses and Certification
• N/A
Experience and Skills
• Technical Experience: 1 year cashiering functions
Role Specific Responsibilities
• Posts self pay payments, balances and prepares daily deposit and reports.
• Assists patients with billing inquires and/or directs to appropriate party.
• Adds, removes and updates insurance information after discharge as required.
• Registers Reference Labs
• Assists patients with all funding inquiries and/or Healthcare Assistance applications to ensure completion and timely filing.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Patient Intake Supervisor and/or Manager
Compensation (Commensurate with experience):
