As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the secure and punctual delivery of our customer orders. Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a commercial van or box truck to transport customer orders to designated locations within Phoenix and surrounding areas. Some deliveries may be in Tucson, Yuma or other cities within Arizona.
• Verify the accuracy of each order by checking items against delivery records or manifests.
• Plan optimal delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries and maximize efficiency, utilizing GPS and local road maps.
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering orders promptly, professionally, and with a friendly demeanor.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns in a courteous and timely manner, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department if needed.
• Operate hand trucks and electric lifts to load and unload items at delivery locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe driving record.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including inspections, cleaning, and fueling.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a local delivery driver.
• Familiarity with Phoenix and surrounding areas to efficiently navigate delivery routes, utilizing GPS and local road maps.
• Proficiency in operating hand trucks and electric lifts for loading and unloading.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
