Lead Software Engineer

Duties: Develop innovative engineering solutions. Develop and support the highest standard reliability, performance, scalability and security. Create flexible delivery pipelines to test, scan and deploy applications into a public cloud AWS environment. Design customer-facing applications and understanding to the fullest extent application scalability and performance requirements. Conduct POCs for new technology and produce reports showing the validity of the solutions on the value it can provide to the organization. Mentor colleagues while guiding them on development best practices, provide oversight, and code reviews on deliverables. Manage and support cloud application environments providing resiliency support when necessary and monitor application logs in case if issues provide support and drive them to a resolution by engaging the proper teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus Seven [7] years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Software Development Engineer, Technical Lead, Senior Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Java; J2EE ;Hibernate; Spring; XML; Webservices; REST; Apache Wicket; React; Junit; Mockito; Maven; Git; DB2; Eclipse IDE; Soap UI; WebSphere.
Job Location: 1111 Polaris Pkwy, Columbus, OH 43240. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
