Anakeesta is seeking ADVENTURE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS that are responsible for assisting in the repair and preventative maintenance of the Adventure Elements at Anakeesta. This position has a strong understanding of safety roles, as this is our number one priority.  

RESPONSIBILITIES 



Conduct Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Inspections of Gear, Adventure Elements, Ziplines, and Canopy Sky Walk 


Assist in basic element repair  


Assist in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and build projects 


Assist Zipline staff as needed with tours 


Ensure all inspection and repair documentation are completed 


Other duties as assigned 


QualificationsQualifications 

18 years of age or older 


Rope access and positioning experience preferred  


Understanding of basic gear and course inspections per ACCT standards  


Ability to work safely and comfortably at various heights and positions required  


Zipline and/or ropes course experience preferred. 

Able to work in all-weather conditions. 


Available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays 

Physical Requirements 

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.; can push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, and crawl  


Must be able to pull another individual up to 300 feet on a zipline. 


Must be able to work at heights up to 100 feet 


Manual dexterity to secure harnesses 


Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time on uneven ground 


Must be able to safely lift, carry, and move materials independently and with team assistance when necessary. 


Ability to perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and reaching overhead. 


Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, including on uneven surfaces and stairs. 


Ability to safely handle heavy, bulky, or awkward items using proper lifting techniques and assistance as needed. 


Capable of working in a physically demanding environment with frequent movement and manual labor activities.
