ROLE SUMMARY: The Journeyman Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in buildings and facilities according to project specifications, blueprints, applicable codes, standards, and safety policies. This role ensures quality workmanship, provides guidance to assigned trainees or apprentices, and contributes to efficient and safe completion of assigned projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Interpret plans, specifications, and work instructions to complete assigned installations or assemblies.
Installs plumbing equipment, piping and assemblies.
Perform skilled tasks related to fabrication, layout, installation, repair, or maintenance of assigned systems and equipment.
Work collaboratively with general contractors and other trades.
Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures.
Provide instruction, training, and guidance to trainees or apprentices to promote safe work practices and skill development.
Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in an organized, safe, and serviceable condition.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 4 years of commercial plumbing experience required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project documents.
Strong understanding of plumbing systems and applicable codes
Proficient in trade math.
Proficient in the safe and proper use of hand and power tools.
Strong understanding of job site safety standards and commitment to following all company safety policies.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and clients.
Med Gas experience with certification a plus.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
OSHA 10
