Job Summary: 

 

The Human Resource Generalist will support NRG’s Services business and the Airtron team. This position provides HR support to management and employees in the following areas: HR policy, benefits, compensation, employee relations, recruiting support, and onboarding, as well as subject matter expertise relative to administrative, transactional processes, and data integrity. 

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Builds effective relationships with leaders, managers and employees to provide seamless HR support.
  • Serves as an advocate and business partner by providing coaching and guidance to management and employees regarding policies, procedures and programs. 
  • Facilitates and improves the recruiting process by providing assistance with job descriptions, compensation analysis, approvals, and onboarding.
  • Supports compensation program administration by preparing incentive plans and non-solicit/non-compete agreements.
  • Performs audits of employee data to ensure data integrity
  • Coordinates and supports leave management for the Airtron business
  • Acts as liaison for the business and learning development and training resources
  • Provides positive customer service by responding to employees and managers on HR- related questions. 
  • Promotes employee and manager self-service with available systems and procedures.
  • Identifies opportunities, takes initiative to continuously improve the effectiveness of current HR/business processes and practices.
  • Manages and implements special projects as assigned.

 

Working Conditions:

 

  • Open office environment.
  • Hybrid schedule 3 days in the office
  • Some overtime required as special projects arise.
  • Minimal Travel- day travel to other locations, occasional overnight travel to other offices as needed

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma, 5 years in HR of HR experience in a generalist / specialist function in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.

OR

  • Bachelor's in Human Resources and 1 year of HR experience in a generalist / specialist function in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.

OR 

  • Currently pursuing or have a Master's degree in HR.  
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills to include Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
