Position Summary

Northrim Bank’s internship program is designed to help students grow professionally and expand their real-world knowledge in a financial institution. Each intern will be assigned to a certain department, and gain extensive exposure to Northrim’s business processes. 

Intern assignments will be based on the needs of the bank and related to the following business areas:

• Accounting
• Commercial Lending
• Credit Administration
• Internal Audit
• Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics

Eligibility

• Current enrollment in accredited college.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to operate standard office equipment such as PC, printer, fax/copier, and telephone.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to comprehend, analyze, and communicate business memorandums, technical procedures, and government regulations.

Working Conditions 

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. 
• Work is performed in a professional office environment.
