COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

The  Warehouse Inventory Supervisor function of Nestle USA Factory Supply Chain directly manages inventory moves for all raw/pack, halb, and finished goods in the physical logistics network.  The scope of responsibility begins at good receipt & ends at production declaration (raw/pack/halb) or successful shipment (shippable halbs/finished goods).  This includes all inventory located in company owned or 3PL warehouses as well as in transit inventory.  The group interfaces continuously to provide insight with several functions throughout the value chain including: Deployment, Transportation, Physical Logistics, IMSP, Quality, and Finance.
 

Hours - 2:00pm - 11:00pm - Monday - Friday

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Inventory Supervisor reports to the Factory Supply Chain Manager and oversees a team of Shipping Receiving Coordinators managing the day to day operations and the proactive development of the team.  Key responsibilities include:  Manage overall waste, manage all write-ons/write-offs/and DUVs, manage cycle count program, manage compliance to Nestle Policy, root cause analysis to eliminate inventory variances, implementing standard routines and processes to standardize methods across Nestle USA. 

 

This role also pushes the company to become more efficient and effective with inventory management.  Developing and reporting KPI’s to upper management is critical for success as you work closely with other functions within the organization to ensure we are managing to the lowest total delivered inventory cost to Nestle.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:                    

1. Collaborate with key stakeholders on Inventory Control best practices for various classes of inventory:  Warehouse, 3PL, In Transit
2. On boards and manage new facilities inventory processes (Company Owned, Co-Manufacturing, 3PL, Overflow)
3. Develop value-added reporting to drive inventory accountability to the appropriate levels in the organization.
4. Supervise the research for daily, weekly, monthly inventory discrepancy management.
5. Show expertise in the GLOBE solution and redesign processes to maximize efficiency while delivering against targets
6. Work with field and corporate staff, finance, and supply chain to resolve inventory discrepancies
7. Be proactive in conducting ad hoc, fact-based analysis to anticipate and resolve potential problems
8. Develop best practices. Document and share across the organization by gaining consensus from all affected teams.
9. Educate operations teams on variance causes, impacts and solutions.
