About the role

Our Company

Changing the world through digital experiences is what Adobe’s all about. We give everyone—from emerging artists to global brands—everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences! We’re passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.

We’re on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!

The Opportunity

Are you passionate about designing content experiences that immediately impact almost a billion users? People worldwide learn how to use Acrobat products through instructional videos, images, and articles. We are looking for a system-focused motion designer to drive the development of animated orientation and instructional content that informs and delights.

What you'll do

  • Produce motion content down to the last detail yourself, as well as art-directing vendor partners

  • Develop forward-thinking learning experiences that help people learn how to use the Document Cloud suite of apps and adapt to new features

  • Evolve and refinine an approach to motion based on ongoing user research, changing product requirements, and updated business objectives

  • Create scalable design systems, guidelines, and workflows that allow our partner teams and external vendors to deliver content at scale

  • Attention to detail and ability to independently produce highly polished and professional work in tight time frames with multiple projects running concurrently

  • Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, balance multiple workstreams, and communicate progress

  • Experience directing and supervising vendor partners, including production studios and motion designers

  • Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate decision-making process

  • Willingness to act on design feedback from colleagues in a rapid iterative design process

  • A collaborative nature, with preference for solving problems as a team

  • Willingness to contribute to the creative, collaborative spirit of the Experience Design team and the company
