HR Operations Senior Specialist - Crete

<p>Domes Resorts in Crete are now hiring! </p><p><strong>We're on the lookout for a talented HR Operations Senior Specialist to join our awesome team. As the “go-to” Person, you will be the backbone of our HR operations, making sure everything runs smoothly and in line with the law and our policies. </strong>The role is based in Crete and requires travelling through the various destinations such as Chania and Elounda. This is a full time/ all-year role based in either Chania or Elounda.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>What you will be doing: </strong></p><ul> <li>Act as the primary contact for employee relations matters, offering guidance, counseling, and support to employees and managers.</li> <li>Collaborate with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and devise recruitment strategies for your region.</li> <li>Conduct interviews and participate in the selection process for key positions.</li> <li>Coach managers on performance-related issues and assist in managing performance matters.</li> <li>Consistently interpret and implement HR policies and procedures across our Crete hotels.</li> <li>Stay current on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize legal risks.</li> <li>Lead or contribute to HR initiatives such as process enhancements, policy development, and HR system implementations.</li> <li>Investigate employee complaints and disciplinary cases, recommending appropriate actions based on findings.</li> <li>Mentor, train, and develop a team of HR coordinators and specialists.. </li> </ul><p><strong>Specific Knowledge and Skills:</strong></p><ul> <li>Able to work in a fast-paced environment and cope with deadlines.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail</li> <li>Able to inspire a team and influence stakeholders.</li> <li>Someone with a hands-on, pro-active approach</li> <li>Knowledge and experience in employment law, ERGANI and compensation is necessary.</li> </ul><p><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul> <li>Relevant bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or other equivalent degree</li> <li>Fluency in English</li> <li>High Computer literacy with advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (Pivots, V-Look Up)</li> <li>Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.</li> <li>Previous experience in luxury business or hospitality environment is preferred.</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>The company offers:</strong></p><ul> <li>Competitive remuneration package</li> <li>Continuous learning and development opportunities</li> <li>Opportunity to develop and grow within one of the most dynamic hotel-groups in the Mediterranean. </li> </ul>
