As a member of the Generator & Electrical Systems team, you will be an active contributor to the design of keys electrical equipment/compartments part of our power plants control & electrical distribution systems.

What you’ll do
- Responsible of the equipment allocated on projects:
- Prepare the functional specifications, based on the sizing studies, the contract, the regulatory codes and standards applicable for the project, the reference designs.
- Support on supplier design evaluation and disposition technical offers.
- Responsible for project realization by the supplier, in collaboration with the purchasing and quality functions.
- Support the site teams during the installation and commissioning of the equipment.
- In addition, for compartment:
- lead compartment integration.
- Verify compartment design against building codes and standard including structural analysis.
- Verify the concept and calculation of compartment Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system.
- Coordinate with design engineers, equipment owners/Technical Leaders to execute project deliverables.
- Review and approve the team members internal deliverables, external deliverables.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- 5 years’ experience minimum, in the field of electrical distribution of industrial installations ( MV, LV AC distribution systems, MCCs, DC-UPS distribution system, electrical compartment design)
- Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
- Fluent with MS Office applications
- Good understanding on motor management relays, protection relays, VFD, coordination study and balance of power.
What will make you stand out
- North America Standards (UL, CSA, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA, IEEE…) experience with a certification for professional engineer in the state.
- Arc flash study and OSHA requirements experience.
- You have experience with HVAC design.
- You have a passion for Electrical Distribution Systems digitalization.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is 98,400.00 - 164,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
