The Senior Manager, Energy Services is expected To lead the Execution Team based out of Danbury, Connecticut. Oversee the planning and execution of projects assigned , taking ultimate responsibility for the key delivaerables on each project. Plan and assign work responsibilities to direct reports, manage people, monitor and report on deliverables. Work cross functionally amongst the DCE group and the company as a whole to achieve individual and group goals. Be a creative problem solver who collaborates to meet objectives. An expert communicator who can motivate a team to accomplish common goals.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, monitor and control all assigned projects scope, budget and schedule
- Supervise direct reports as a manager in both project and business contexts
- Travel as needed to meet departmental goals
- Delgate responsiblitly amongst direct reports, monitor and report on progress
- Responsibility for overall delivables as designated by supervisor
- Collaborate cross functionally through various departments to complete tasks assigned
- Maintain an expert level knowledge of project delivery means methods and techniques in order to direct the work of others.
- Interpret data and provide analysis in various situations
- Creative problem solving ability within a team setting
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management , Engineering, Business or related field.
- Given the technical nature of the projects, Trade licenses and experience can be substituted for the degree requiment.
Experience:
- Eight (8) years of direct experience in solar project delivery, being involved with the project planning, construction, commissioning and operation.
- Two (2) years of direct experience in battery project delivery, being involved with the project planning, construction, commissioning and operation.
Job Skills & Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage customer relationships
- Demonstrated experitise in the renewable space desire to learn about the Company
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
- Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
- Ability to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team
- Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
- Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable
- Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts
