Validator, our flagship product that is already used by 10 global banks and the DTCC, applies an expensive rule set to each message to ensure accuracy and completeness, and is often used to optimize their development processes. Reportable is a Trade Reporting Eligibility Engine.<br/></p><p>We hire smart self-starters who thrive in an open-ended environment to figure out what needs to be done and take ownership of delivering results.</p><p>What you'll do: <br/></p><ul><li>Work with business analysts to understand requirements;<br/></li><li>Participate in design decisions;<br/></li><li>Develop necessary functionality;<br/></li><li>Cover your code with Unit tests;<br/></li><li>Perform troubleshooting and support production;<br/></li><li>Be involved in all of the phases of the development life cycle.<br/></li></ul><p>What you'll bring: <br/></p><ul><li>A bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field; <br/></li><li>A minimum 5 years of Java development experience; <br/></li><li>Fluency in spoken English so that you would be able to discuss </li><li>Technical solutions with an overseas team; <br/></li><li>Expertise in Spring (specifically Spring Integration and Enterprise Integration Patterns; <br/></li><li>Commercial experience with RESTful services; <br/></li><li>Knowledge about Git and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins. <br/></li></ul><p>Ideal candidates will also: <br/></p><ul><li>Have proficiency with XML and JAXB or XSLT; <br/></li><li>Be familiar with scripting and cloud technologies (Unix/Linux, Python and Flask, AWS Services); <br/></li><li>Have Capital Markets experience with an understanding of financial instruments and a trading environment; <br/></li><li>Have experience with Regulatory Trade Reporting. <br/></li><li>Graphql, Elasticsearch, k8s.<br/></li></ul><p>Not checking every single requirement?<br/></p><p>If this role sounds good to you, even if you don't meet every single bullet point in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
