The Challenge

The Senior Strategic Planning Manager is part of the CFO organization, reports into the Senior Director, Corporate Strategy and oversees OneTrust’s strategic planning process.

The Corporate Strategy function has been established to drive execution towards measurable outcomes, aligned to OneTrust’s strategic plan. It is accountable for providing clarity and expertise, defining sequencing and trade-offs, recommending best capital allocation options and providing oversight to the Executive Team across all large cross-functional initiatives at play.

Your Mission

The Senior Strategic Planning Manager will:

  • Lead the strategic planning cycle to support our executive team in crafting and tracking the execution of OneTrust annual strategic plan and updates required throughout the year, orchestrating efficient meetings to facilitate these discussions
  • Continuously improve OneTrust’s execution tracking framework (process and system) to drive accountability around business priorities and allow leadership to continuously focus on what matters most and course correct where needed
  • Check-in with initiatives’ directly responsible individuals (DRIs) to ensure they are driving the right outcomes and outlining updates to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic initiatives that drive growth and value for OneTrust, leveraging analytical skills and industry expertise that align with the company's goals and vision
  • Develop management reports and board presentations that provide clear and concise insights, enabling effective communication and decision-making at all levels of the organization
  • Support functional leaders to align their goals with the organization's overall goals, adapting as the company grows and be a trusted advisor who gives honest opinions and different perspectives on strategic topics
  • Provide support and advice to the executive team, aiding in decision-making and planning, making sure the executive team is well informed and ready for all engagements
  • Connect the dots and ensure the right people are speaking with each other by organizing meetings and schedules and prepping agendas, briefings, and materials for executive meetings
  • Help leadership to communicate the vision and decisions to the rest of the company and facilitate communication between the executive and other members of the leadership team, disseminating important information to relevant stakeholders

You Are

  • 2-5 years of consulting experience in leading consulting firm
  • Proven experience with strategic planning practices
  • Exposure to SaaS industry and Technology is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience within a corporate environment and large-scale strategic projects

  • Ability to constructively challenge leaders and call a spade a spade with diplomacy

Extra Awesome

  • Knowledge of the privacy & security SaaS industry
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to perform rigorous financial and valuation analyses and to work with key operational metrics
  • Familiarity with accounting principles are a plus
