Position Summary:

The Senior Compliance Manager works with the Director of Compliance and Chief Compliance Officer to support our Global business on compliance matters relating to adherence to relevant policies, codes, laws, and regulations impacting business operations.  The Senior Compliance Manager will assist with various aspects of our compliance program, including compliance training, auditing and monitoring, transparency reporting, board reports, and advising the business on internal policies and industry codes.  The Senior Compliance Manager will be responsible for supporting the continued development of Globus’ Corporate Compliance Program, enhancing processes and systems, and assisting in structuring programs to ensure that processes are efficient.  

Essential Functions:

  • Assists in updating compliance-related company policies and procedures

  • Develops and implements compliance auditing and monitoring programs

  • Assists in compliance audits of company policies

  • Prepares timely, accurate, and well-documented reports

  • Investigates compliance related allegations

  • Leads and supports ad hoc compliance related projects

  • Supports business partners with specific compliance related issues

  • Identifies and communicates compliance risks associated with commercial programs or practices

  • Improves and streamlines processes and procedures

  • Develops training content, maintains documentation, and delivers in-person training

  • Supports annual compliance on-line training and requirements related to training assignments

  • Supports the collection of data for transparency reporting requirements

  • Assists in the development of compliance-based reports

  • Analyzes and tracks trends across compliance monitoring workstreams to measure and improve the company’s overall state of compliance

  • Other duties as required

  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. 

  • Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role

  • Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:

  • 5 to 10 years’ experience within healthcare compliance for a pharmaceutical or medical device company preferred

  • Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated project management experience and problem solving as a member of a cross functional team

  • Excellent written and oral presentation communication skills

  • A working understanding of healthcare laws, regulations and industry codes

  • Superior organization skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be detail oriented and team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment

  • Able to handle multiple projects with varying deadlines and also an ability to adapt quickly to changing demands/needs

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong work ethic, a positive attitude and professional demeanor are critical

  • Medical device experience is preferred but not required

  • Demonstrates high ethical standards
