Director Delivery, SAP Public Cloud

JOB SUMMARY:
 

As Director of Delivery – SAP Public Cloud, you will lead delivery of SAP-focused cloud transformation initiatives across our client base. You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams responsible for delivering complex delivery engagements involving S/4HANA Cloud (Public Edition), RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, and related technologies deployed on public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will ensure delivery excellence, drive operational efficiency, build trusted client relationships, and mentor a high-performing team. This is a key leadership role interfacing closely with clients, alliance partners, and internal stakeholders.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee delivery of SAP S/4HANA Cloud, RISE with SAP, and BTP projects deployed on public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Act as an executive sponsor on key accounts, ensuring successful delivery and long-term client satisfaction.
• Manage delivery team performance, utilization, and profitability across engagements.
• Build and lead high-performing delivery teams composed of SAP architects, cloud engineers, and project managers.
• Collaborate with Sales and Solution Architecture teams to scope opportunities and transition from pre-sales to delivery.
• Ensure governance, reporting, and delivery methodologies are aligned to best practices for SAP in the public cloud.
• Track and improve delivery KPIs such as margin, utilization, and CSAT/NPS.
• Champion continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and professional development across delivery teams.
   

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
• MBA or relevant master's degree preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years of consulting or professional services experience, including 5+ years focused on SAP cloud programs.
• Demonstrated success delivering SAP S/4HANA Cloud, RISE with SAP, or BTP solutions in public cloud environments.
• Experience with cloud hosting platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams across multiple engagements.
• Proven ability to engage senior-level clients and manage executive stakeholder relationships.
• Deep understanding of delivery metrics including utilization, gross margin, and project profitability.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage across functions and executive levels.
• Track record of driving operational excellence and scalable delivery practices.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• SAP or cloud platform certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, SAP Activate).
• Experience working in or alongside large system integrators or SAP ecosystem partners.
