Catering Sales Manager

Description

• Grow the facilities book of business within our different outlets
• Follow up with current book of business and continued interaction with all clients
• Meet with clients to capture catering orders specifics like menu dishes, date and time, addresses as well as logistical requirements such as tables, linens and chairs
• Begin and end day in production facility
• Coordinate routes and coordination of all deliveries each afternoon for the following day
• Pursue relationships with outside venues, vendors and coordinators
• Draft and submit the sales contract/estimate to client for review, approval and payment
• Report progress of catering sales to the Facility Director as applicable.  Ensure that all orders are communicated to allow for ample preparation and serving
• Coordinate with catering department such as food preparation and kitchen teams, regarding scheduled catering orders.
• Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality or service
• Attend networking events and business events representing the Iacofano's Catering Group LLC
• Work in concert with the manager and staff to ensure proper delivery of off-site catering.  If off-site staff is needed, coordinate with facility and/or staffing resources
• Conduct tastings for both on-site and off-site events
• Create weekly/monthly/quarterly sales goals, marketing and action plans
• Analyze and develop marketing plans/strategies
• Marketing strategies to include social media, website, etc...

Requirements

• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must have excellent interpersonal and people management skills
• Has a high computer literacy to use PC/Catering Systems
• Must have high organizational, supervisory and managerial skills
• 2-3 years of experience in a sales role
• Proficient with web-based programs
• Experience with CRM software and Event planning software
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
