Job Description Summary

Provide financial support to the accounting and finance team by performing a variety of accounting duties.



The Staff Accountant is responsible for performing daily accounting activities, processing general ledger journal entries, and preparing balance sheet and income statement accounts for a portfolio of limited service, extended stay and select full-service hotels.

• Key Job Functions
  • Three-way invoice matching utilizing the accounts payable system to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct vendor set-ups and check requests.
  • Verifies proper coding, checks calculations, and authorization of invoices.
  • Audit vendor statements and request missing invoices.
  • Perform all cashiering duties, including weekly audits for all outlets.
  • Complete all AR duties, including audits and reconciliations.
  • Daily deposits, cash reconciliations, and POS/Yardi reconciliations.
  • Provide timely and effective customer service both internally and externally regarding all accounting concerns.
  • Additional accounting duties and responsibilities as assigned.
