About the Team:

Ingram Micro US Services acts as an overlay to the overall sales organization to enable our valued partners to achieve better business outcomes for their clients through services & solution delivery.

Ingram Micro Services enables Ingram Micro partners to:

  • Complement your offering by adding expertise & technical competency “where needed.”
  • Extend Geographic Reach
  • Help Scale to any size project
  • Explore new markets without upfront risk and investment
  • Mitigate OPEX & almost completely eliminate CAPEX
  • Handle the complete lifecycle of any solution including Training Services, Assessments, Design Services, Implementations, Managed Services, Support Services, End of Asset Lifecycle Services.  

About this Role:

Acceleration Executives are:

Focused on Net new logos and net new business to Ingram Micro for services transacting partners.  They are primarily an existing Ingram Micro partner that has never had any services transactions with Ingram Micro and this position will be responsible for getting them to transact services from our whole services portfolio.

The Primary point of contact for customers & vendors. Working in conjunction with Sales Account Executives and Sales Account Representatives as well as Vendor Acceleration and Vendor Development Executives, this position will be focused on our whole services portfolio.  Depending on target partner, the way that partner is engaged may be different and you will work as a team to determine the best approach.

Directly engaged in and influential for the sales process.  For all things services, this position will be responsible to lead the way and pull in the

applicable SMEs from the broader Ingram Micro and Services organization.

Accounts may include: SMB, Advanced Solutions, Business Solutions, NSP, and Public Sector

Travel: would be 25%-50% throughout the United States.

Compensation: Base + Commission: 50/50 split

Additional qualifications:

  • Has proven experience and success in promoting and selling services portfolio into the partner and/or end customer markets.  Preferably experience within the Distribution industry and focus on Cloud, Security services and ITAD is positive.
  • Builds and maintains effective new relationships for an assigned group of customer targets
  • Identifies, develops and closes new sales opportunities.
  • Creates demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers.
  • Achieves revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account
  • Conducts strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organization's service strategies
  • Understands focus on pipeline management and forecasting to achieve business objectives.
  • Establishes the right daily habits within CRM to work leads and maintain opportunities to closure as well as open to working within the Ingram Micro systems and processes. 
  • Maintains highest knowledge of relevant technologies, emerging business/ industry trends, competitive technical direction and product direction and matches that with partner needs.
  • Possesses a highly specialized level of technical expertise or business acumen. Extensive services-focused breadth and depth of knowledge arrived through exposure to emerging technical advancements or complex business situations.
  • Self-starter and focused on PERSONAL BRAND that works well within a team environment and takes lead and charge when appropriate. 

Education/Experience: Four-year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field). Minimum 8 years functional experience including a minimum of 5 years position specific experience.
