• As DevOps Engineer you are responsible for the design, build and run of Bosch’s internal platform for AI and GPU computation
• As part of an international team, you work closely with other DevOps engineers and AI practitioners to shape the future of AI at Bosch
• Your experience with parallel and distributed system design, implementation and operation helps you to orchestrate and automatically deploy the platform.
• Your know-how in the AI domain and/or GPU computing applications helps you to further develop the platform according to customer requirements
• As part of your work, you also ensure stable operations of the platform, e.g. by implementing monitoring and automation, integrating with other parts of Bosch IT infrastructure, and meeting security and compliance requirements.
• You support the users of the platform by restoring service operation as quickly as possible in case of failures, communicating planned and unplanned outages, and implementing bug-fixes.

Qualifications

• Education: university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Sciences, Engineering or related fields
• Personality: communicative, responsible
• Working Practice: structured, independent
• Experience: multi-year hands-on experience in designing, building and running complex parallel system environments (e.g. HPC); Practical experience in parallel filesystems and high-performance networking; Hands-on experience in software development and deployment orchestration; Experience in Data engineering, Machine Learning, and/or GPU computing is beneficial.
• Knowledge: know-how in Linux administration, deployment orchestration and monitoring technologies (e.g. terraform, ansible, prometheus); knowledge in HPC technologies (batch scheduling systems, parallel file systems); software development knowledge (e.g. git, Python); knowledge of Machine learning frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn, tensorflow) and/or GPU computing (CUDA, cuDNN) is beneficial
• Languages: business fluent English, German is a plus
