VP - Business Services-Credit & System Operations

This position is responsible for leading and developing a team of professionals in Credit and Business Services Operations. The responsibilities of this role include assurance that all loans and portfolios meet regulations and policies, optimizing system efficiency and workflows, and providing high-level member service. The VP also oversees the compilation of Business Service reports, makes recommendations on credit concentrations and procedures, and serves as a voting member of the Business Loan Committee. Additionally, the VP oversees lending policies, trains and develops the team, and collaborates across departments to achieve organizational goals.
Managers at Summit Credit Union have a Hybrid Schedule (3 days per week in Cottage Grove office).

- Relationships are fostered with internal stakeholders to achieve departmental and Summit’s goals.
Capability Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years or more years of commercial banking credit and risk experience within a financial services institution, with 3 years of more of management of credit and operations teams; or combination of applicable work experience and education.
- Strong leadership and management skills, including the management of other people managers.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional well developed interpersonal skills essential for interacting with credit union staff and members.
- Excellent problem solving, team building, analytical, organizational and time management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial banking products and services.
- Ability to develop and implement effective strategies.
