Position Overview: 

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer with in-depth experience in Aruba ClearPass network access control and Palo Alto firewalls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing secure network infrastructures, along with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential threats. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, deploy, and manage Aruba ClearPass for network access control and authentication. 
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Palo Alto firewalls to ensure robust perimeter security. 
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization. 
• Implement and oversee Aruba ClearPass solutions, ensuring seamless integration and interoperability with various vendors to maintain a robust security posture.  
• Respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. 
• Collaborate with cross-function teams to integrate security solutions seamlessly. 
• Monitor network activity for unusual behavior, analyze logs, and ensure compliance with security standards. 
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior security team members. 
• Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements. 

Minimum requirement- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience. Less years required if has relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications.

Critical Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network security engineering roles.
• 10+ years of experience with Network Access Control (configuration, troubleshooting, and policy management) with various Wired and Wireless technologies (Cisco and Aruba) 
• Proficiency in managing Palo Alto firewalls (rule creation, traffic analysis, and threat prevention).
• Strong understanding of network protocols, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security. 
• Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS). 
• Experience with SIEM tools, log analysis, and incident response processes. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. 
• Strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Proficient in Aruba Wireless and Wired technologies  
• Relevant certifications such as Aruba ACCP, Aruba ACMP, ACDP. 
• Proficient in implementing Aruba ClearPass Network Access Control solution with various vendors. 
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP). 
• Experience with zero trust architect
