Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide expert advice on overseeing customer network development and customer support activities, as well as supporting customer engagement opportunities. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning, directing, or coordinating operational activities for the team with the help of executives and staff managers.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Multifamily Customer Engagement - Lead Green Financing Associate (Hybrid) role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Develop customer relationships across business units and/or customer accounts, and strive to do what's right for our customers.
  • Identify executives, managers, and team members to support customer relationships.
  • Lead the team in supporting and selling the Fannie Mae's products and services to make sure people across the country have access to affordable financing opportunities.
  • Provide support for operational activities.
  • Guide the team in providing subject matter expertise, best practices, and recommendations for teams across the organization.
  • Work closely with the Green Financing team and across the organization to develop, implement, and monitor customized business solutions to meet both Fannie Mae and customer goals and objectives.
  • Support and manage multifamily sustainability and decarbonization strategy, policy, and program development.
  • Lead lender and borrower trainings on green financing products.
  • Work with Technology, Data, Capital Markets, and Reporting teams to ensure that loan data is being accurately captured and reported.
  • Work across the organization on research, analysis, and outreach materials to support multifamily Green Financing Business key priorities. 
  • Build and maintain customer relationships across business units and/or customer accounts and strive to do what's right for our customers.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 4 years
  • Skills

  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • The group of skills related to Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand

  • Tools

  • Skilled in Excel
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM


Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Environmental studies, environmental policy, and/or sustainability related degree or experience preferred
  • Experience with environmental, social, governance (ESG) concepts including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and impact reporting preferred
  • Experience with energy and water efficiency, decarbonization, electrification and renewable energy generation program management for commercial or residential buildings preferred
  • Experience in multifamily housing finance preferred
