Work Environment The position is situated in our modern outpatient office in Delray Beach, Florida, a city renowned for its beautiful beaches, vibrant arts scene, and dynamic community. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical conditions using standardized assessment tools and clinical judgment to formulate accurate diagnoses. Create detailed and individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and objectives of each patient, incorporating evidence-based practices. Administer hands-on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities aimed at pain reduction and functional restoration. Continuously monitor and document patient progress, utilizing objective measures to assess effectiveness of treatment and adjust plans as necessary. Provide patient education on self-management techniques, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to enhance rehabilitation and prevent future injuries. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver coordinated care. Engage in ongoing professional development by staying updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and industry best practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clinic primarily serves adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will be working with individuals ranging from young adults to seniors, with varying levels of mobility and rehabilitation needs. Your ability to build rapport and establish trust will be vital in motivating patients to engage in their recovery process actively. Qualifications A valid Physical Therapist license issued by the state of Florida is required. A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Doctoral degree (DPT) preferred to ensure you are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills in the field. Strong knowledge of orthopedic physical therapy techniques and ability to implement them effectively in a clinical setting. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members. Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a diverse healthcare team. A compassionate demeanor and a genuine commitment to improving patient care and outcomes. Preferred Experience At least two years of experience in a clinical outpatient setting is preferred, particularly with an emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation. Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to streamline documentation and treatment planning is advantageous. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
