IT Concepts is looking for a Mid-level Project Manager to support the USDA, Forest Service PMOSS (Program Managment Office Support Services). The Consultant is responsible for supporting the Project Manager/Team Lead in the development of project artifacts and supports efforts in executing the project approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with key activities, tasks, and project artifacts (e.g., presentations, reports, dashboards, training, communications, standard operations procedures) related to the projects.
  • Update project schedules including milestones.
  • Work collaboratively with team members on work assignments, correct work discrepancies.
  • Knowledgeable of PMI and Project Management: project approach, process, and procedure.
  • Review and correct work discrepancies.
  • Prepare for requirements gathering sessions by reviewing project artifacts; support requirements gathering sessions during facilitation.
  • Participate in all aspects of UAT including documenting test plans and test scenarios, executing test scripts, and managing the issue register.
  • Actively participates in project team meetings and promptly communicate issues to the Project Manager.
  • Capture meeting notes and maintains all project artifacts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, which may include Business or Computer Science with minimum of 1-2 years of project management OR minimum of 6 years of related project management experience.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems creatively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Willing and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
