We are looking for a Product Data Analyst to support key product initiatives across the third-party administrator (TPA) and Provider network solutions at Lantern. This role sits in the Product organization with a core focus on enabling the data driven initiatives within TPA, Health Plan enablement and Provider roadmap. The ideal candidate combines a strong product mindset as well as hands-on technical skills and expertise, and will work closely with data engineering, data governance and data operations teams to build analytics and insights dashboards, enable data pipelines, workflow automation and experimentation frameworks. The analyst excels at ingesting and transforming multiple fragmented data sets into clear, actionable insights.
The Product Data Analyst shall apply specialized knowledge of modern analytics stack including Microsoft Azure Stack, Python, R, Excel, PowerBI, Databricks, and Snowflake to conceptualize, design, develop, unit-test, configure, and implement business intelligence and data insight solutions. The person will work closely with product managers and technical leads and interact with internal and external stakeholders. This person will also be responsible for generating requirements and technical documentation as needed; conforming to security and quality standards; and staying current on emerging trends.
Successful candidates will:
- Have hands on experience working with and transforming multiple healthcare data sets and familiarity with clearing house and data exchange standards
- Be comfortable with researching data questions, identify root causes, and interact closely with business users and technical resources on various data related decisions
- Leverage analysis skills to discern, unlock, and communicate insights out to decision makers at all levels of the business
- Have experience in creating robust and automated pipelines to ingest and process structured and unstructured data sources into analytical platforms using batch and streaming mechanisms leveraging a cloud native toolset
- Leverage the right tools for the right job to deliver testable, maintainable, and modern data solutions
