<p>Brightflag’s Engineering team delivering clean code, rich intuitive interfaces and ensuring customers love using our products, is at the heart of what we do. <p>You will join a scrum team for our Workspace product which is Brightflag’s document and task management system for legal teams. This role offers a flexible work location across Ireland and you will be working with colleagues in Ireland and the global engineering team. Our Workspace product is built using C# on .NET running in AWS cloud environment and utilises storage technologies such as Postgres, Elastic, and AWS S3. Our frontend technologies are based on React and interact with the backend using ReST APIs.</p>

<h3><strong>What You Will Be Doing</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Develop the backend of the platform using C# .NET, with Postgres data storage , elastic search and AWS services.</li>
<li>Build and design UI product features using React, TypeScript and design system. </li>
<li>Partner with our Scrum teams working through the design of new features. Influence refinement of requirements to ensure Agile delivery (design, coding, testing, delivery, bug fix) and partner with our QA Engineers to drive the quality and performance of your code</li>
<li>Write detailed unit tests, as quality, code coverage and CI-CD is key to our methodology</li>
<li>Conduct code reviews giving guidance and advice to continually improve the codebase</li>
<li>As an experienced engineer you will have input into the technical design and refining of the solutions.</li>
<li>Step back to consider what's already in our product and how the design fits that. If there is a better fit, recommend a new approach. </li>
<li>Participate in refinement of requirements to ensure Agile delivery (coding, testing, delivery, bug fix).</li>

<h3><strong>Skills & Experience</strong></h3>
<p><em>To be successful in the role, you need:</em></p>
<ul>
<li>Bring a minimum of 5+ years of C# .NET development experience, including at least 1 year of Frontend modern JavaScript framework</li>
<li>Highly skilled in .NET Core and REST APIs in ASP.NET Core </li>
<li>Have worked with modern JavaScript frameworks - e.g., React, Angular JS or similar </li>
<li>In-depth experience with relational DB development and schema updates for application changes, ideally with Postgress</li>
<li>Have worked in Enterprise Software - developing solutions with high degrees of technical complexity - looking at security, scalability and reliability etc </li>
<li>Ideally have experience working in a SaaS or Product led software design</li>
<li>Have experience in Agile software development methodologies.</li>
<li>Prior experience in technical design and refining of solutions</li>
<li>Solid experience coding tests (unit/integration tests etc.)</li>
<li>Have experience coaching and mentoring other Engineers</li>
<li>Be pragmatic and highly collaborative/ consensus driven</li>
