Are you looking to transition from theory to a tangible hands-on Internship? Look no further and join Skyworks Summer/Fall Co-Op (June 2024 - December 2024) program.  

 

We are looking for self-motivated individuals, with a desire to learn. In this position we’ll have a mentor to guide you and provide the foundational knowledge needed to shift from a classroom environment to employment.

In this internship you will be responsible to create, expand, and optimize our Power BI reports and support Salesforce application. The ideal candidate should have data processing knowledge with an ability to understand organization’s interactions. The Data Analyst Intern shall support our quality group by building data analytics, report generation and visualization apps. The right candidate shall exhibit skills of re-designing our SharePoint web applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensures the integrity of the quality management system when changes are made
• Analyze large amounts of datasets being generated by our different QMS platforms
• Implement summaries, risk assessments and visualizations that help approvers make decision based on data.
• Build analytics tools that extracts information from excel, csv, text, databases to generate statistical analysis, reports, summaries, and visualizations.
• Implements processes and systems to monitor quality performance, ensuring data analysis is always accurate and available for the maintenance of the company’s Quality Management System

Qualifications

Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.

Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.

A successful history of managing, processing, and extracting values from large, disconnected datasets.

Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service

Experience designing, building, and maintaining web pages.

Additional Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who is attending a Graduate degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or another quantitative field. They should also have knowledge using the following software/tools:

Knowledge in relational SQL and No SQL databases.

Knowledge in building institutive UI with scripting languages: Python, R, Javascript, etc.

Knowledge on Python libraries such as pandas, scipy, numpy, pysimplegui, etc

Knowledge on Power BI for building interactive dashboards and publishing via MS Teams

Knowledge on HTML, CSS, Javascript for building web pages.

Education

Pursuing Graduate degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or another equivalent field

Must be enrolled throughout the Co-op.

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
