About the Role:

We are seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires an individual who is passionate about building and optimizing data pipelines, solving complex data challenges, and ensuring the seamless flow of data across our organization. As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance data systems that support decision-making and strategic goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that our data infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and well-architected. Your expertise in Snowflake and MS SQL will be crucial in optimizing data storage, improving query performance, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of business-critical data. What You’ll Do:

• Design & Build Data Pipelines: Architect and develop scalable data pipelines to process and integrate data from various sources, ensuring data is available for analysis and reporting.
• Optimize Data Systems: Utilize your expertise in Snowflake and MS SQL to optimize data storage, query performance, and data processing workflows, ensuring high availability and low-latency access.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and provide high-quality, efficient data solutions.
• Mentor & Lead: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers, fostering their development and ensuring best practices are followed.
• Enhance Data  Infrastructure: Continuously evaluate and improve our data architecture, identifying opportunities to integrate new technologies and improve system performance.
• Ensure Data Integrity: Maintain high standards of data integrity by developing data quality checks, validation rules, and ensuring proper data governance practices are in place.
• Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Resolve complex data issues through detailed analysis, identifying root causes, and implementing long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 6+ years of experience in data engineering, including hands-on experience with Snowflake  and MS SQL databases.
• Data Pipeline Development: Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines using modern ETL/ELT tools and technologies.
• Data Warehousing: Expertise in data warehousing design and management, particularly with Snowflake.
• Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and experience working with data processing frameworks.
• Cloud  Platforms: Experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their respective data services.
• Data Quality: Strong experience in ensuring data integrity and quality through validation, testing, and transformation.
• Mentorship: Ability to mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
• Performance Tuning: Expertise in query optimization, database tuning, and enhancing      performance in large-scale data environments.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on troubleshooting and resolving data issues.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articula
