Java Springboot Couchbase - Sr. Developer

Job description:

Capgemini is looking for a Senior Java springboot Developer and a deep understanding of Couchbase. 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
•    Develop and program applications using Java (Java 11+), Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Microservices Architecture along with hands on experience on Couchbase
•    Integrate and manage Couchbase with Spring Boot, ensuring efficient transaction management.
•    Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
•    Participate in code reviews and assist team members with development challenges.
•    Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using tools such as Git/GitHub, Jira/VersionOne/Agility, Concourse, Gradle, and Ansible.
•    Handle client calls and collaborate with client technical leads effectively.
 
Required Skills:

•    7 + years of experience in related application development.
•    Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data, Microservices Architecture and a deep understanding of Couchbase.
•    Strong in Java 8 and related frameworks(Spring, spring boot, microservices, hibernate)).
•    Proven experience in Java development (Java 11+), Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Microservices Architecture.
•    Strong knowledge of Couchbase and its integration with Spring Boot.
•    Proficiency in virtual machine/cloud-native technologies and Linux commands.
•    Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools and practices.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Experience in writing unit tests with JUnit and Mockito.
•    Working knowledge of quality and security scan technologies such as Sonar.
•    Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
