HM Richards is a financially stable, 28-year-old upholstery and furniture manufacturing company focused on expansion. Our company mission is to make beautiful furniture while constantly reducing our environmental footprint by using planet friendly materials and processes. We currently have openings for an Upholsterer in our Guntown, MS location.
Summary: Unloads, counts, and distributes all incoming poly daily to ensure each upholstery department receives materials for the daily schedule in a timely manner.
Essential functions of the job:
Obtains daily work schedule and determines quantities and styles for each upholstery line assigned.
Unloads trailers containing poly. Stages in appropriate areas for counting to match the bill of lading.
Distributes poly to each line assigned by hand or buggy.
Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
Minimum Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
High School Diploma or GED not required.
Working Conditions
Typical factory working conditions with exposure to heat, dust, oil, etc.
