(Seasonal) Lifeguard

We are seeking an experienced lifeguard to work weekends for the 2024 summer season at a condominium community in Acton, MA. The individual must be reliable and personable when interacting with residents and able to enforce facility rules as a main component of the job.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Lifeguard certification.
• To include First Aid & CPR.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.

Duties

• Ensuring the safety of all swimmers.
• Communicating the facility rules to residents/guests as needed.
• Reporting problems/incidents to supervisor.

• Cleaning and caring for the pool as needed.

Responsibilities

• Renews required certifications when they expire.
• Stays fit to perform job adequately which requires swimming endurance and strength.
• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Interacts politely with facility patrons and acts as a role model for young children.

Working Conditions

• Lifeguards are required to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Saturday & Sunday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.).
• Part-time positions available.
