Job Summary:

Responsible for site direction of environmental services staff performing cleaning and/or project work at the hospital and associated locations.  Monitors environmental services program to ensure that buildings are maintained in a safe, clean and operationally effective condition.  Performs project work and other environmental services duties as directed by department director. 

EDUCATION: A.S. or equivalent preferred

EXPERIENCE:

• 1 – 2 YRS. SUPERVISORIAL 
• 3 – 5 YEARS

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

• Supervisorial skills including interviewing, organizing, planning and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of hospital infection control, sanitation protocols and cleaning methods.
• Must have a valid California driver license.
• Must be able to get along with others, give and accept instructions and suggestions.
• Must be able to comprehend and absorb new work methods.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be fluent in spoken and written English with proficient writing skills. 
• Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
